Returns management has been highlighted as a core component of the overall solutions stack:

Parts that are removed from the F-35 need to be repaired at the appropriate MRO/repair shop against pre-agreed turn around times. Our returns management covers all operational and customer service related activities in the F-35 return-cycles.

The Reverse Supply Chain is part of the F-35 sustainment supply chain and covers the process of dealing with F-35 product return-cycles. F-35 parts that are removed from the F-35 need to be repaired at the appropriate MRO/repair shop against pre-agreed turn around times. Returns management covers all operational and customer service related activities in the F-35 return-cycles. Returns Management also deals with the F-35 customer facing processes that are related to the physical operational processes. Increasingly important are all aspects of managing the relation with the F-35 customer in the reverse supply chain as ALIS initiates the product return and expects a follow up service to it. Return-cycles do not just involve a product that is being returned, it also involves with customs, compliance and other challenges.
