Set the right priorities when you start improving your returns process
2020 in review
2020, what a year.
At the end of 2020 we like to send you an update about what has happened at 12Return in 2020 and what will happen early 2021.
The team at 12Return has worked remotely for most of the year and we have used our time for some big improvements to the platform. Here are the projects that have been completed in 2020:
We have launched a new infrastructure for our platform. The new infrastructure is prepared for growth and brings more power for faster performance.
On the new infrastructure, we have launched a brand-new product for customer returns. Return Bird includes a new return portal and merchant dashboard for your returns process. Return Bird has an improved UI and faster performance.
On the new infrastructure, we have launched a brand-new product for returns operations in your in-house or outsourced warehouse. Return Dock is a brand-new app for receiving and grading products in the warehouse. Of course, Return Dock is fully connected to Return Bird for an end-2-end returns process.
We have integrated with Transsmart to offer an extensive list of new carrier services. We can now offer many new local carriers in all European countries. This allows you to offer a better returns service to your local customers.
Merchants are not always looking for just software but want a full service that handles their returns. We have co-operated with a selected group of logistics service providers to offer a Managed Returns service in Europe. We operate a network of 13 local returns hubs across Europe to handle your returns locally. Managed Returns truly is an all-in-one service for returns in Europe.
In 2021 we will work with all of you to migrate your 12Return account to the new infrastructure so you can benefit from new features, faster performance, and new future releases.
Furthermore, our development lab has completed some interesting new features that will be deployed in early January:
- Custom attributes for return policies and product groups: this will allow you to define specific data fields for the return portal. (In Return Bird surveys have been replaced by custom attributes).
- Multi-unit returns: we have improved the process for shipping returns with multiple parcels/pallets in the shipment.
- Zendesk integration: we will launch a native app for Zendesk that will allow support agents to initiate and manage returns in Zendesk. Support agents will have a customer 360 view with all return data in Zendesk.
